Ingredients:
Cake Core:
1 kg self-raising shortcake flour mix sifted
10 egg yolks beaten till stiff
5 Vanilla past extracted from pod
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
5 egg yolks
10 cubes butter salted
2 cups fresh cream
1 1/2 cups sugar
Toppings:
1 box dissolved gelatin
8 strawberries halved
2 whole kiwi halved and sliced
1/2 cup assorted fruits sliced
Whip cream bottled
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 cup lime juice
What's Special:
Reduce the quantity of sugar and you will not have a sunken in cake. Using fresh vanilla and fresh cream coating adds zest to the creamy cake. For a fresher taste, add lime to the topping and you will have a cake that is not enough to savor...
Method:
1) Add in the ingredients for the cake core and mixed well and consistent till smooth in a baking tray. Bake under pre-heated oven of Gas mark 4 for 40mins.
2) Prepare the toppings in a heated pan except for the whip cream and cooled till room temperature.
3)Coat the cooled and tri-layered cake core with fresh cream and on the whip cream, add the toppings.
4) Chill the cake and serve the family to a sweet lasting dessert...
