Valentine Hearty Orange Cake

Portion: makes 8 slices
Preparation time: 30 mins
Baking time: 40mins





Ingredients:
5 oranges washed cleaned
1 kg self-raising plain flour sifted
200g butter unsalted
5 egg whites beaten
3 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup coarse sugar
1 tablespoon salt

Toppings:
Fresh cream
Mocha Powder
Edible Decorations


What's Special:
Having a rich Mocha and zesty orange flavour mix just enriches the romantic Valentine ever.

Method:
1) Shred the orange skin and keep aside the minced orangie skin.
2) Hand juice the oranges and dispose the remaining skin .
3) In a mixing pan tray, mix the orange skin, juice and remaining ingredients till of a smooth consistence.
4) In a preheated oven of 200 degrees, bake the mixture in the desired tin for 40 minutes.
5) Cool the cake for 1 hour before decoration.
6) Slice into 2 layers the sponge cake.
7) Apply the fresh cream in between and all over the cake exterior and powder the top with Mocha.
8) Be creative in the decoration for a delectable romance on Valentine's.
